During this time period. . .

* U.S. job growth for women was stronger than that for men in services and retail trade;

* For every two jobs added for men in government, five were added for women;

* Women's jobs doubled in the following industries: mining, transportation, wholesale, retail, and finance; and

* Six million jobs were added for women in health services.
